Klang Haus / KL
This project is conceived as a complete living experience, where architecture and interior design are developed as one continuous vision.
The building is carefully composed to respond to two distinct conditions — an urban frontage and a private lakeside rear.
The front façade presents a strong and refined architectural identity, framing the main entrance and car porch through layered horizontal volumes and controlled openings. It establishes a clear sense of arrival while maintaining privacy.
In contrast, the rear façade opens fully toward the lake, maximizing views, natural light, and connection to the surrounding landscape. Generous glazing and extended terraces create a seamless transition between indoor living spaces and the outdoor environment.
The main living area is deliberately oriented toward the lake, allowing uninterrupted views and drawing the surrounding landscape deep into the interior. Living spaces are further aligned with the sunset, engaging with the changing light and atmosphere throughout the day.
This duality defines the project — balancing solidity and openness, privacy and exposure — while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout.
By integrating exterior and interior design from the outset, the project achieves a sense of clarity, continuity, and timelessness, resulting in a home that is both visually refined and deeply connected to its setting.
